Instructions to un-tie and return the sarees and the accessories

1.     Carefully remove the pin which attaches the saree to the blouse at the left shoulder, and lift off the shoulder. It loops around behind you.

2.     Remove the pin that attaches the saree pleats to the petticoat at the waist in the center where the pleats are tucked into the waistband

3.     Untuck pleats from waistband and IF there is a third pin on the inside layer, remove that pin. Pull up the rest of the fabric to untuck from the waistband. The sari should come loose completely.

4.     The petticoat is tied at the waist, as you would tie a bow. So draw on the string and it should come loose. If it does not, then you will have to untie it like you would untie a knot.

5.     If you borrowed a blouse, there will be buttons in the front or back to remove.

6.     Fold all the items. Saree will be a bit tricky as it is 6 meters long! Fold it in lengthwise in half and continue until it gets to a size that can be put in a bag.

7.     Return it to one of the home’s listed below.
